Stony Creek Metro Park is a regional park in Shelby Charter Township, Michigan. The park covers 4,461 acres (18.04 km2) and includes a 2,385-acre (9.66 km2) lake. It is the largest park in the Huron-Clinton Metroparks system. The park was established in 1960 and is currently managed by the Huron-Clinton Metropolitan Authority  

Stony Creek Lake was created in 1960 by damming Stony Creek, a tributary of the Clinton River. The dam was built for flood control and recreation. The lake is used for swimming, fishing, and boating. There are also six miles of hiking trails in the park  

The park is home to a variety of wildlife, including white-tailed deer, red foxes, beavers, and squirrels. Birds that can be seen in the park include great blue herons, woodpeckers, and kingfishers.
